Dragon (2025) Movie Filmyzilla

Dragon is a Tamil movie directed by Ashwath Marimuthu who had written the story with Pradeep Ranganathan. In the movie produced by AGS Entertainment the lead role of Dragon (D Ragavan ) is played by Pradeep Ranganathan and other important supportive roles are played by Anupama Parameswaran ( Girlfriend) and Kayadu Lohar, Mysskin, Gautham Vasudev Menon, K.S. Ravikumar and George Maryan.

The movie was released on 21 Feb 2025 worldwide and got a good response from the critics and the public, especially from the youth.

Dragon Movie Budget and collection

The movie budget is estimated to be around 35 to 37 crore rupees. This is very less as compared to the amount of work done in the movie and it also rewarded with a high return of 176.37 % which grossed over 150 crore rupees including world worldwide collection, so considering this performance movie is a blockbuster till now it become the highest grossing movie in Tamil in 2025.

In short Movie's Plot

The movie starts with a young boy (D Ragavan) in a class family.He passes out with 90% but the girl he likes rejects him by saying that she likes Capri boys. So he also transforms into Chapri and also changes his name to Dragon. After a few years it shows in college with chapri look with his friends and also this time he has a new girlfriend. As time passed he was busy doing Chapri things in college and as a result, he failed to clear his papers. After that, he enjoys his life all drinking smoking etc. jobless and same cheating parents about going to work in reality, he just enjoying himself in his friend's room.

One day the girlfriend broke up with him by saying the reason that he had no job and salary and got engaged to a boy who has a salary of 1.20 lakh. After breaking up it got him into depression and decided that he would earn more than 1.20 lakh.

One day he met a guy who had fast success and he asked for the same process, once he got the process he got a problem with money to get the job he had to pay 10 lakh money so he asked his parent, parents somehow arranged the money and gave it to him after completed the process he gets the job with a good salary and everything change he also gets a date for his marriage everything going smooth one day accidentally he comes across with his principal, the principle investigate further and found that he cheated the company by giving false certificate and he tries to tell the company about the same but Dragon plead and requested no to tell and tell that he will do anything for not to tell so principally tell to come to college again and clear the papers. He back to college where once he was chapati and struggled to study but somehow managed to clear the paper After that marriage day comes on that day he reveals to everyone he cheated on one paper

By exchanging the paper with the poor boy who eventually tried suicide because of failure and reveling this the marriage broke up with drama.

After a few days, Dragon started doing the delivery job and was happy with it. In the end, it shows the truth that the Dragon principal became very happy and decided to marry his daughter with him.

Final Thought

The movie touches on a middle-class young boy with ups and downs in his life unemployed, dreaming of big life success and failure harsh reality of the current situation of indian youth and lastly dong low salary job like a delivery boy which is the harsh reality of today's youth with high education and low-level works.
